-       Throughout our 3 days together we will work on three intertwined topics:
 
o   Curricular adaptations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
o   How to create meaningful educational objectives for children with ASD, taking into account the needed curriculum adaptations.
o   Prerequisite academic skills for teaching literacy to children with ASD and its consequences for objective creation and curriculum adaptation.
 
All teachers will be encouraged to created their objectives, adaptations and reflections as part of active learning opportunities throughout the workshops.
 
Session will be delivered in Portuguese.

Assistant Professor, UFAL
Having completed her postdoctoral research at the University of Nebraska, Ana is currently an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas in Maceió. She has spent years working with families who have children with autism.
