YouTube Zero to Hero!

We all watch our favorite artist videos on YouTube, but there are many ways we can use YouTube as a productive teaching tool. In this session Ryan will take you from being a YouTube Zero to Hero! We will start with some of the basics, including playlists and subscribing to channels. We will then move to uploading videos, live-streaming, and developing your own channel. This informative and hands on session will leave you with a greater sense of using YouTube in your classroom and its value for you and your students. Whether you want to use the basics for teaching, or become a YouTuber, this session has it all.

Digital Tools for Formative Assessment

As teachers, we all know that formative assessment can give us valuable insight into what are students know and if they are ready to progress in their learning. In this session Ryan will cover a number of useful digital formative assessment tools. These tools will be a great addition to your teacher toolbox and are exciting for students! You will have lots of time to experiment with these tools and walk away ready to formatively assess your students!
